Nike was founded in January 1964 by Bill Bowerman and Phillip Knight as Blue Ribbon Sports which later became what
we know today as Nike. The company is named after the Greek goddess of victory. With trademarks like “Just Do It” and

The first shoe to carry this design was a soccer shoe released in the summer of 1972. Shortly after its release in
1972, BRS which is now known as Nike, Inc. introduced its first line of shoes. Over the years, Nike shoes has made sure
it’s products extend well beyond expectations by making shoes and apparel for all walks of life. In addition,
Nike sponsors many high profile athletes and sports teams around the world to ensure that the Nike brand is
visible and well represented by the best.

By creating shoes like the Nike Shox that offers an excellent cushioning and stability system, Nike brought in the new millennium with a bang in the early 2000’s by introducing a futuristic shoe. Through successful product launches and ad campaigns, Nike shoes has a distinctive brand that will appeal to the masses by offering numerous styles. As Nike continues to produce great athletic products and use creative ways to entice buyers their brand will continue to evolve into the future.
