1. You are truly turning the music game upside down with your unique voice! What makes you love music and stand apart from the rest?

Zewdy Interview Question:
1. Thank you! Well, music makes me feel like nothing else.. I get a this sort of euphoric feeling whenever I sing! I think what makes me stand apart from the rest is that I'm a youngin' with an old soul, so my style is heavily influenced by a lot of the older r&b singers. Also, you don't hear about Ethiopian/Eritrean-American artists that often. I like to fuse my ethnic background into my music (& personal style in general.)

2. Since your father comes from a music background, How long have you been into music? When did you decide this was truly your passion?

Zewdy Interview Question:
2. I've been into music my WHOLE life, & my dad is one of my biggest influences! He's always singing & playing the guitar. This was always my passion, but it took me years to get out of a little shy phase I had.

3. You are definitely a well known up and coming artist....how do i know?..That's right I googled ya..hahaha...but as you know the internet is taking over and youtube has gotten a lot of artist shine, How has Youtube helped and rocket your career?

Zewdy Interview Question:
3. YouTube is the reason the majority of people who know me, know me lol. It's the best tool when you want to broadcast somethin to the world, whether it be talent or just entertainment. I was discovered by my label (En-Treeg Records) via YouTube. But I can't forget that Khris Khaos (YT username khriskhaos2) played a HUGE part in my YouTube exposure & for that I am forever grateful!

4. Besides your talented father, what music moguls inspire and admire you and boost your love for music? Who would you love to perform with?

Zewdy Interview Question:
4. I really admire Beyonce, she's my favorite for so many reasons! She's beautiful, talented, humble, but knows she's the business! I also admire Usher almost as much, I think his vocal ability is amazing. Others include Donnie Hathaway, Mariah Carey, Toni Braxton, Whitney Houston, a new but good 1 - Jazmine Sullivan, etc.
