Hip Hop Interview Question :
How would you describe your personal style? Do you like the new skinny jeans trend or more of the baggy look?

Khalil (r&b singer) response:
I definitely, I wouldn’t say the skinny, I’d say more like I like to keep my clothes fitted. Definitely not baggy, but they nice and slim, they fit me right.


Hip Hop Interview Question :
What are some of your favorite stores to shop at?

Khalil (r&b singer) response:
Favorite stores…ooh ok, ok, ok. I’d have to say BBC. I like to go to SOHO whenever I’m in New York so a lot of stores I check out up there are probably BBC and Ice Cream. I like Flight Club, which is like an all shoe store, they got like the craziest shoes in there, so Flight Club is real crazy.


Hip Hop Interview Question :
When you go shopping, what are some of your favorite hip hop clothing lines to buy from?

Khalil (r&b singer) response:
Hip hop clothing lines… I rock a lot of G-shock. I got G-shocks for days. I rock Supra kicks a lot and a lot GK’s, stuff like that. And as Far as other stuff, J’s, Nikes, stuff like that.


Hip Hop Interview Question :
About how many pairs of sneakers do you think you have in your closet?

Khalil (r&b singer) response:
I’ll probably say, since I moved up to a size ten, I probably got around 30 or 40 now.


Hip Hop Interview Question :
Is that more or less than you had before?

Khalil (r&b singer) response:
It’s definitely less. I was an 8 ½ for a long, long time, so I had a bunch of kicks. But I just gave all of them away, but when I had those I probably had about 70 or 80. I’m trying to get up to 100 now though, I’m a shoe fanatic.

What’s your favorite retro Jordan?

Khalil (r&b singer) response:
I’d have to say the 5’s. Retro 5’s are crazy.


Hip Hop Interview Question :
What about jewelry? Have you purchased any jewelry or do you plan on purchasing any?

Khalil (r&b singer) response:
Nah, not really. I did plan on hitting the jewelry store, getting me an iced out G-shock or something crazy like that, but not yet.


Hip Hop Interview Question :
We know about what you do like, what about trends that you don’t like? Is there a fashion trend that you would never be caught wearing?

Khalil (r&b singer) response:
I would have to say the baggy look. I’m not really a fan of that. It used to be hot, but once it went out I don’t know. I used to dress baggy you know, with the baggy pants, the baggy shirt, but anything like that, that’s baggy like that I can’t stand it.
