At this time Tupac was experiencing nothing but success and he also appeared in a few movies such as Poetic Justice.

Many of Tupac’s music was about gang activity and sex and he was known for his explicit and violent material. Tupac Shakur seemed to be living out his gangster rap role when he was arrested several times for violence. The tables were turned when Shakur became a victim and was shot 5 times during a mugging. In 1995 Tupac Shakur was sentenced to a little over four years in jail due to the sexual assault case. However, his album entitled Me Against the World stille found success and reached number one on Billboard charts.

In 1996 Tupac Shakur released his album All Eyez on Me after Suge Knight posted bond of over $1 million. Following his release his songs “California Love” and “How Do You Want It” continued Shakur’s success. However, amongst the success, Tupac was emerged in a beef that existed between the East and West Coast rappers on the time. He insulted enemies in his music and the feud ultimately led to his death. Tupac Shakur was in Las Vegas for a boxing match with Suge Knight when he was shot while riding in a car on September 7, 1996. Six days after the incident Tupac Shakur died on September 13 as a result of the gunshot injuries. Tupac Shakur’s murder is still a mystery until this day and the true shooter was never revealed.
