New Songs: Trae The Truth - Im On, vs C.KHiD - I'm On
New Songs of 2012 are hitting blogs all around this week. From Jay-Z's "Glory" to Gucci Mane and V-Nasty's "Lets Get Faded", majorly hyped releases have finally hit. However, the tracks to compare right now are rapper Trae the Truth's new 2012 release, "Im On", and C.KHiD's 2009 "Im on". Released Years apart, these two singles are hardly alike beyond the title. While Trae the Truth's single is more gritty and Hip Hop / Rap music, C.KHiD's prior release is a more pop music like song over "Gym Class Heroe's" Viva La White Gurl. Both very catchy songs, Trae The Truth's star studded line up has outdone the South Carolina rapper's song/video in views. C.KHiD's "Im On" video had over 67,200 plays today, while Trae The Truth's "Im On"has recieved 533,966 plays. Trae the Truth's new song, "Im On", features singer MDMA and mainstream rappers Lupe Fiasco, Wiz Khalifa, Wale, and Big Boi. Recently releasing the video visual on WorldStarHipHop, it's being reviewed by fans of one their favorite Trae the Truth songs. It's also a triumph for the Houston rapper who was said to be blackballed by Texas Top40 radio. C.KHID's song "Im On", was released 2 years ago. One of his first indepedent music video releases, the web sensation used the 50,000 viewers that watched to push mixtape "Jacked 111". Over 10,000 downloads were made of the free rap mixtape to date on various mp3 download sites.
