Manny Pacquiao Getting $500 Million A Fight Over Floyd Mayweather...

Manny Pacquiao Getting $500 Million A Fight Over Floyd Mayweather...

10 / 12 / 2012       writer: Bobby Yungn

Champion boxer Floyd Mayweather was already said to be spacing himself from close friend 50 Cent. News today posted on FightHype & ThisIs50 is going to make it worse. In turning down the partnership wtih 50 Cent and Tommy Summers, the two are aiming to get Manny Pacquiao $100 million, that could have been Floyd's money.

"You can make $500 million to $1 billion before you quit and after," said Tommy Summers in a letter to Floyd while he was incarcerated, downtown Las Vegas. "That old Golden Boy sh*t is over. You gonna make $100 million or more a fight. You made Golden Boy and Al Haymon a lot of money. Game over!"

It seems however, Floyd Mayweather is not all about the money, in some way. While the offer for $500 million to $1 billion dollar is an incredible earning for one night, he did not sign into partnership with 50 Cent and Tommy Smalls.

Did the boxing great sense something was up?

Floyd's golden-boy intuition predicted Manny Pacquiao would lose a lop-sided fight, over money. Perhaps he used his 6th sense to maneuver around Smalls and Fiddy.

Summers continued with a passionately penned story about why Floyd Mayweather should join him and 50Cent, saying "You fought Oscar [De La Hoya], [Ricky] Hatton, [Shane] Mosely, [Manuel] Marquez, [Victor] Ortiz, [Carlos] Baldimore and [Miguel] Cotto. All at the MGM Grand. The deal was cut under the table. That site fee and gate money ain't sh*t. G.B. and Al already took the money to bring you to Vegas and fight here at MGM. It's worth over $150 million dollars. D. King did not bring Tyson to Vegas at MGM for only gate money. You are worth more, do your own thing. You never got the things you wanted from MGM because they got it already. Over $100 million over 8-fights. Trust me I know."

If this letter is true. The boxing world's business will have a sharp eye on 50 Cent and Tommy Summers for exposing matters to the public, that should be in private.

Summers and 50 Cent obviously believe Pacquiao, who lost his last title fight, can earn near the $500 million-$1 Billion Floyd Mayweather is worth. However, many question who Manny can fight, that anyone would care to see after losing again.

Make no mistakes or comparisons to Floyd Mayweather, the true champion in all forms. He's lost no fights and not taken 'hush money' to lose a fight. People betting on Floyd Mayweather can expect him to win a fight, as he focuses on being the best in his sport.

Can anyone say the same about Manny Pacquiao now? After all, he was quiet as a church mouse after the last fight was thought by many to be thrown. Persuasive video was released to get people to believe in boxing judges that unforgettable night, but the truth was clear. Las Vegas casinos cleared billions that night, thanks to Manny Pacquiao bowing out with just a pay check and no championship belt.
