Lil Wayne had 2 seizures this week, in case you were 'livin the life' somewhere without a cell
phone. Various rumors and gossip topics have been made about the issue but one thing's now
clear, he is ok. Rapper Lil Wayne has been confirmed settled in with his mother for a while,
hoping for a full recovery.
Lil Wayne's camp has reported the seizures came from extreme dehydration, but Hollywood's buzzing
of a different story. Many believe the New Orleans' rapper physical condition has
deteriorated after a long-running drug usage habit. Known for smoking marijuana, drinking lean,
and snorting coke since ( or as a ) pre-teen, the highs may finally have to come to an end.
Science professionals released notes of a new marijuana study that capped in 2012. The decade old
study proved marijuana permanently damages the IQ. The drug lean was announced
destructive by its once biggest supporter, independent rap legend Pimp C, before his death.
The Texas rapper unfortunately died of the 'Lean', a promethazine cough syrup substance.
Lil Wayne admitted cocaine use in a VH1 documentary about his life. He said he tried it
just to see what it did, before he was 15 years old. As Rick James was quoted for saying,
'Cocaine is a hell of a drug', that does not need detail.
The combination of these drugs likely has some things to do with Lil Wayne's 2 seizures,
common sense speaking. The damage to his brain, heart, and other organs is obviously done.
Lifetime friend Cortez Bryant, admitted he couldn't stand to see Lil Wayne high on the drugs.
On Tha Carter Documentary (seen below at 38:00 mark), Cortez explains he won't ride on
Weezy's tour bus. Bryant also said "I cant look at him in that state for too long,
cause it hurts me, know what I'm saying?"
Bryant obviously tried to detour his lifetime friend from the decision of drug use. Both he
and Lil Wayne grew up in New Orleans, Louisiana's ghettos which gave them a clear view of
what it does to users.
Cortez continued speaking to QD3's video crew on the possible seizure-related topic,
"I don't supply it, I don't get it. I told him don't ask me to get it."
Cortez denying Lil Wayne the drugs resulted in a public break-down by Lil Wayne in 2008.
Opening a show in Virginia, in possible denial, Lil Wayne stated, "A junkie can't do what the f*ck I do."
With hindsight being 20/20, the two Lil Wayne seizures might put a dampening on that statement.
However, only Lil Wayne knows if he's questioning his former cocaine, marijuana, & lean habits.
However, he's obviously somewhat disgusted of his past habits. Lil Wayne is now suing
QD3 entertainment, whom he authorized to film the documentary. The rapper said he feels,
his actions at the time, portray him in a negative light, which says a lot.
Still standing strong through it all however, Lil Wayne is staying focused and friends are rallying to
his aid. The world's most famous rapper just 2 years ago, is not letting the health condition
kill his spirits. More Trukfit clothing, Mountain dew skateboarding events, new Lil Wayne songs,
and YMCMB artists are coming soon.
On a positive note, perhaps the college-educated rapper's senior years
will bring philanthropic change. The Hollywood music
and film industry is known for promoting and requiring artists to be drug-inhibited to reach
such statuses as Lil' Wayne. The 'rebel' image is marketed to entice youth and be
'wowed' at a guy breaking rules but now that Lil Wayne has his own funds, perhaps he will create
change. The rapper's already signed talents Nicki Minaj, Drake, Tyga, & Lil Twist.
Friends in Hip-Hop are not forgetting his aid to them, when they were fledgling artists, as well.
Various celebs tweeted and commented, speaking out on the issue of 'Lil Wayne had 2 seizures.'
Good Music's 2 chainz spoke out saying, "I talked to him last night, befo' y'all heard
about anythang. So my dog, he straight."
He continued, with a quick supportive line, "Young Money for life, ya dig.
Get well soon homie, hit me up."
Meek Mill also spoke on Lil Wayne seizure news and current condition. The Philly rapper
told MTV news, "I ain't get a chance to check in with Lil Wayne. You know he pro'lly got a
million people calling at the same time, so you know... when i see him, I'll make sure he good.
You know what I'm saying homie.. Lil Wayne, that's the homie."
