Lebron James Can Top Michael Jordan Says Charles, But Also Kobe?
LeBron James or Michael Jordan? Is there a new 'greatest' to NBA basketball. This question has been re-lived more times than pairs of retro Nike Air Jordan basketball shoes. However, few basketball legends have chimed in like Charles Barkley this week. "I Do Think he Can Be Better than Michael." said Charles Barkley on Open Court, an NBA TV show. He continued about the LeBron vs Michael debate, stating "I thought I would never compare somebody to Michael Jordan. But this guy LeBron James, he does everything well." Not only did Barkley say this but he elaborated on his thoughts. The retired NBA legend and Hall of Famer stated LeBron James is already one of the 10 greatest ball players of all-time. "Chuck" even went as far to say it's an honor to witness LeBron's NBA career. When asked what didn't Michael Jordan do, that LeBron does, Barkley's response was quick. "Michael Jordan did everything well." said Charles Barkley. He continued "LeBron James is just bigger, stronger, faster. That's the only difference." The Nike LeBron sneakers campaign said everyone would "Witness" the future of basketball and it seems to be coming true. Winning his first championship in the 2011-2012 NBA season with the Miami Heat, he's on a path just like Michael Jordan. Both LeBron and Michael won their first NBA championship in their 7th season. What about Kobe Bryant ? It seems the Lakers superstar has been overshadowed. However, it will be a great 2012-2013 NBA season to see if LeBron can truly dominate. With the LA Lakers picking up Steve Nash and Dwight Howard, they have right caliber players to compete with the Miami Heat at all positions.
