Hip Hop 2012 beef has been sparking like California Wildfires across the rap landscape.
This week, Harlem rapper A$AP Rocky came under fire from an old high school classmate, Cashflow.
A rap artist that's been known around Uptown Manhattan since a pre-teen for performing at
Rucker Park and recording with some of today's biggest stars as a youth.
The song, "Young Harlem Nigga", leaked to the web earlier and generated some viral attention as
various blogs picked up on it. With Cashflow remaining quiet about the rap diss track, it was
assumed there would be nothing more to it.
This week however, everything hit the fan. Cashflow shot a music video in Harlem, New York City
for the A$AP Rocky diss record, and it's getting clear he wants to run his town.
"We Don't Pop Pills, We Roll Blunts / We Got Gold Chains Not Gold Fronts / We Don't Drink Lean, We
Drink Ciroc Ni**a" raps Ca$flow on the record.
This could be coincidence and not a rap diss. There are other Hip Hop music artists from NYC
that talk about popping Molly pills, wear gold fronts, and drink lean right? Ay, then again
that is probably not the case from Harlem, maybe Brooklyn.
Either way, the beef is sizzling and it will be interesting to see if A$AP Rocky or any of his
A$AP mob crew retaliates in the war of lyrics.
Watch the Ca$hflow "Young Harlem Nigga" music video below . Listen to the beginning and hear
Harlem rap legend and former Bad Boy artist, Ma$e, talk about Ca$hflow.
