Oregon Marijuana Dispensaries Leave Idaho People Trippy

According to NPR,
an interesting trend has developed in the state of Idaho. That trend,
state troopers say leaves hundreds trippy. All are risking jail time for the act. Idaho people
chasing relief from pain are driving across the state border for
Oregon's medical marijuana dispensaries .
A sizeable 40% of cannabis seizures in the state of Idaho come from Oregon, says the
state police's records. Along the border, a region frequented by State Trooper Justin Klitch,
over half the pot buts are from Oregon Medical Marijuana clubs.
"I'd take a drunk over a pound of dope any day of the week," Klitch said to NPR.
Why? The trooper knows that drunk drivers kill people, constantly. Medical marijuana users may
be THC-induced but display more control on average. A huge statement from a man of the law.
Thoughts like his, are also believed by Idaho doctors obviously. While the state does not have
any marijuana dispensaries, prescriptions are actively being issued to patients.
What can an Idaho patient do with an marijuana prescription, in a non-legal state? Simple,
drive to Oregon. The state, known for its Portland metropolitan, allows marijuana caregivers &
clubs to dispense cannabis to anyone with a prescription. Not just people from Oregon are
allowed to buy, anyone is.
The rising number of pulled over pot-smokers in Idaho is bringing an issue into a new spotlight.
The state that is 'next to Oregon' has a lot of people that feel a need for THC. Perhaps, the
'Boise state' needs to begin allowing medical marijuana dispensaries.
As more people begin admitting usage of the plant in Idaho, perhaps a public vote or consensus
will be done. That would put the issue to rest finally in a state where 'wild and free' is
still a way of life.
Until then, users of Marijuana will continue with their risk-taking ways. Idahoans will be
rolling joints and toking on OG trippy stick
vape pens, with Hash Oil and cannabis from Oregon.
