New Frank Ocean songs are surrounded by infamous hype in 2012. The former OFWGKTA rapper
caused a lot of controversy this quarter, indirectly admitting to being a
homosexual on tumblr. Since that, representatives for the "Novacane" hit-maker, announced
his album would be sold in Target stores exclusively. Now, it will not be only on iTunes.
A rumor that circulated shortly after Target de-listed Frank Ocean's Channel Orange album,
they don't support gay's equal rights. Ocean's manager, Christian Clancy, quickly canceled
that malicious rumor.
Clancy commented "Target has refused to carry Frank's album because of iTunes exclusive.
Interesting since they also donate to non-equal rights organizations."
A wise-crack at the Target stores rumor and it's ignorance, Frank Ocean's people still support
the popular store chain.
While the comment was removed from twitter, Frank Ocean and Clancy both gave more detail in
additional statements. The duo made sure fans knew Target won't carry the album
due to the release schedule. The new 'Channel Orange' album going to be available
at digital outlets, before retail, lowering possible foot traffic to the store.
