Jay-Z New Songs of Summer 2012 To Push D'usse Cognac

Jay-Z New Songs of Summer 2012 To Push D'usse Cognac

New Jay-Z Songs 2012 released won't be talking about Ace of Spades, the gold champagne bottled party beverage. Instead, the rapper is moving forward with new Cognac beverage, D'Usse. Roc Nation, formerly Rocafella, fans will have to anti-up Summer 2012.

According to Ballerstatus, 'The Life files' blog first reported news of new Jay-Z Songs 2012 sponsor. Sure to crack a witty line in whatever new rap music is released for the Summer 2012, it's eminent that the new father and 'god MC' Jay Hova will be name dropping the brand.

The new D'usse Cognac [pronounced Dew-say] is produced by Bacardi. The brand hopes to compete with Hennessy on the cognac market, retailing the VSOP drink for $44.99. For the price club-goers and drinkers will recieve a 750-ml size bottle.

While new Jay-Z songs have been the catalyst for brands like Ace of Spades aka Armand de Brignac champagne and Cristal ( which he later denounced for racism and biggotry ), the Brooklyn Nets owner has never been so forward about his relationships to alcohol brands. However, Zack O'Malley-Greenburg reported in his book Empire State of Mind: How Jay-Z Went from Street Corner To Corner Office, Jay-Z recieves millions for his verbal endorsements.

"All of them confirmed that Jay-Z receives millions of dollars per year for his association with Armand de Brignac. The connection wasn't through the Cattier family, but through Sovereign Brands." wrote O'Malley-Greenburg. "The production cost per bottle of Armand de Brignac is about $13; the wholesale price is $225. The maximum output is 60,000 bottles per year. If Jay-Z splits the $212-per-bottle profit evenly with Cattier and Sovereign, a back-of-the-envelope calculation suggests his annual take would be a little over $4 million. One of my sources confirmed that number, and added that Jay-Z may have received equity in Sovereign Brands worth about $50 million."

According to MTV News, the official launch party was held in New York City, May 9th. Attendees includes Pharrell Williams, Solange ( younger sister of Beyonce ), and other celebrities.
