Rappers C.KHiD is on the move for the Summer 2012 music season. Gaining popularity through
YouTube, new songs "Summer Summa" and "It Is What It Is" achieved more plays than
some majors, totaling over half a million fan views. Continuing "CKHiD-Mania", the
virally spreading talent announced new music video "Are You Down" is ready to release next
week.
"Are You Down is a new song or [ Hip hop ] video asking a girl all the right questions.
At the same time, it's also telling her what she has to deal with if she wants someone
who will achieve success. Real people will get this & the video is wild. It's ready now but
I'm not sure when in coming weeks I'll debut it," explains C.KHiD on Tumblr to fans.
"Are You Down" was produced by Bravestarr Beats.
The new C.KHiD song features fellow Carolina music talent, Young Marquis, an R&B singer.
After C.KHiD's blunt relationship lyrics, Marquis serenades ladies with reminders and
questions of loyalty.
"Can You Deal With the Pressures of Being Precious? // Cant Deal With No Tramps With An Unpleasant
Essence" raps C.KHiD in "Are You Down." A seemingly simple, yet complex demand for
most relationships in 2012.
Performing the new rap song while acting out a Urban romance scene, C.KHiD
is joined by a pageant model Ashley Harper throughout the video. The subject to which he questions
"Are You Down", the two make a scene, throughout the streets of downtown Denver, Colorado
at night.
The "Are You Down" music video was directed and edited by rising film world talent, Shawn Ouwinga.
His precise editing skills and eye for capturing scenes created a music video that will excel
beyond YouTube music artist's best.
Download the new song "Are You Down" on iTunes. The 2012-released single
is featured on C.KHiD album "Black Box Dreams 4".
