New Cali Swag District Rap Song Honors Late Rapper M-Bone
May 15, was a sad day for M Bone's fans, friends, group member and the hip-hop world. In the prime of his hip-hop career, 22-year-old M Bone, born Montae Talbert, was shot dead outside of an Inglewood, California liquor store. Blink of an eye rip mobone, on the morning following M-Bone's death, fans have sent their condolences to M-Bone's tweeter and facebook accounts, which is why M-Bone's family decided on an open funeral. To celebrate the life of the inspiring young rapper, Montae's family and friends decided to have an open funeral on May 27 (today). The family welcomed his fans to Faith Central Church, in Inglewood, California. The remaining Cali Swag District members JayAre, C Smoove and Yung wrote a song called How To Do That. In the song, the members exchange verses on their lost member. Dougie for my brotha'. I love you like no other. A part of Cali Swag, there will never be another. Cali Swag was labeled to Capitol Records before recently leaving the company. Their debut album is much anticipated, and features their hit song Teach Me How to Dougie, and Where Your Are and Kickback. The young rapper was inspired by hip-hop greats such as Jay-Z, Kanye West, Fabolous and Lil Wayne. M Bone was the life and energy of our group. We'd have fun on stage because of him, added Yung. Inglewood Police Department asks for anyone who has information regarding the case to call its homicide division at (310) 412-5246. The Inglewood City Council has also offered a substantial reward for any information of the assassin.
