2011 New York Knicks roster is star studded. Superstar athletes Carmelo Anthony,
Amare Stoudemire, and NBA champion Chauncey Billups are changing the face of last year's
miserable Knicks fans. Coming off the winning streak of the Original 2011 roster, the
New York Knicks have earned their first NBA Playoff appearance since 2004.
"I told friends Amare Stoudemire would be the man at the Knicks. They told me he would not be
complete without Nash. I don't get how people don't recognize his superman athleticism but I knew
something big was coming. We shall see what happens," speaks new iTunes music artist, C.KHiD.
At the end of the 2010 NBA season New York Knicks fans were not sure where the team would land
this season, thinking Lebron James was the great hope. Uncertain that King James would play in
Madison Square Garden, the Knicks GM and management team made the gutsy call to go for
Phoenix Suns blockbuster player, Amare Stoudemire. The trade made fans excited, but
Stoudemire's champion attitude on the court made them realize a new Knicks team was born.
All fan's hopes were certified last night as the 2011 New York Knicks team crushed the
Cleveland Cavaliers. The win certified their spot in the 2011 NBA playoffs, giving
Carmelo Anthony, Chauncey Billups, Amare Stoudemire, and team their chance to win a ring.
“That was the first goal,” D’Antoni said of making the playoffs.
“It would be nice to have home-court advantage, but we didn’t do that. Other than that, this
is as good as we can do up to this point. Now we have to keep getting better defensively,
rebounding, all the little stuff.”
The New York Knicks team are most likely to take the 7th seed for the 2011 NBA playoffs.
Its expected Amare Stoudemire and team will face off against Lebron James and the Miami Heat or
Kevin Garnett and the Boston Celtics. If vicotrious, the New York Knicks basketball team will
have their first Playoffs win since the 2000-2001 NBA season.
