C.KHiD Teams With Cash Wade for Love Is a Gun Song and Youtube Music Video
Rising rap star C.KHiD has become quite the buzz thanks to YouTube, Myxer, WorldStarHipHop, and other music blogs. Recently followed by international photographer Mykal McEldowney, a photo diary of the Hip Hop artist's lifestyle & routine were captured for hometown Greenville, SC magazine "LINK." Skipping town after the shoot to work in Florida, C.Khid shot video for "Love is a Gun," a new Hip Hop song, at the Hip Hop graffitti park in Orlando. "Yup...shot a new music video in Orlando, Florida and it's super dope. Cash Wade, a new music artist also from SC, is featured on the record. We went to the Mauldin high together. Our High School produced Kevin Garnett, Orlando Jones, Madison Younginer, Ben Didelot, Joseph Jackson, Lions of Zion (LOZ) and other stars. We want next," says C.KHiD. The new song "Love is a Gun" is a record C.KHiD wrote the melody for in 2010. After hearing Cash Wade's eccentric style, C.KHiD wrote the hook for Cash, realizing the vocals could mesh into a hit. The beat producer, Gue Beatz, and studio engineer Carlos Paez both gave the song clearance this week, making the official video a few days away from release. "Everyone is telling me they love the song. I played it at some house parties to test crowd response and everyone went crazy," said Cash Wade on the "Love is a Gun" single. Recording their first single together in 2010, C.KHiD featured on Cash Wade's song 'Good Day.' The two recorded the song at Tree Sound, the top recording studio in Atlanta, GA. Since the project carried well, both Cash Wade and C.KHiD have kept communicating and working on a business deal that works in favor of both artists. The new song "Love is a Gun" will be released in the coming week free for fans globally. The official YouTube music video has not be slated for release, but both C.KHiD and Cash Wade are amped to see it launch.
