Undercrwn clothing is a lifestyle clothing brand rooted a passion for sports that was founded in New York City in
2005. The operations of Undercrwn later moved to Los Angeles. The chief designer for Undercrwn clothing is
Dustin Canalim. Dusti Canalim previously worked for other high-end labels such as Adidas, Ecko Unltd, and Zoo York.
The job he was given was to create distinct footwear suitable for casual street wear but also suitable for a
romantic date.
Undercrwn clothing takes pride in producing quality clothing that is sewn from the finest fabrics and designed
with the utmost creativity. They also embrace sport’s history with caricatures featured on tees, jackets, and
sweatshirts. Right now Undercrwn clothing is known for bringing luxury and sportswear together. Many celebrities
have been spotted wearing Undercrwn clothing such as rap artists, The Game, and Talib Kwali. Undrcrwn was also the
creator of an original inauguration tee that combined President Obama’s features with the facial features of
Abraham Lincoln along with George “The Iceman” Gervin who is one of the best shooting guards in NBA history.
The t-shirt read, “All men can now be equal.” Undrcrown not only appeals to basketball fans but has opened its
doors to a variety of people and interests.
Undrcrwn clothing has been a part of several collaborations with music artists. Recently Undrcrwn
teamed up with an upcoming rap artist named Damani to create a Damani shoe and shirt. Another artists they
have done business with is Asher Roth. They created a line of shirts with the theme of Roth’s hit singe,
“I Love College.” Undrcrwn has also partnered with Canalin and Adidas on several projects. Through these
collaborations Undercrwn clothing has found much success in the fashion industry. Undercrwn continues to
stay close to is basketball roots. Undercrwn is not a performance brand but their designs are inspired by
vintage basketball looks and they try to represent a glimpse of past basketball culture.
