LRG hoodie LRG, also known as Lifted Research Group, was created in 1999. Today LRG has become one of the most popular streetwear brands in the industry. Created by Johnas Bevacqua and Robert Wright, LRG has been creating clothing for the hip hop and skateboarder cultures for the last 11 years. LRG is known for their original and unique designs. The LRG tee and the LRG hoodie has become a classic over the years. This revolutionary brand is also responsible for the LRG hoodie that became one of the most hyped up hoodie in clothing history.

LRG decided to appeal to a larger crowd by crossing their audiences. LRG clothing appeals to the skateboard crew as well as the hip hop fan. The LRG hoodie can be found in a variety of closets that belong to people from different walks of life. LRG is also a huge supporter of the underground hip hop scene. Their goal is to discover unsigned talent and to support upcoming artists with their clothing line.

The LRG hoodie has always been a hit. When LRG first started in Santa Ana, California, they set up a booth at Action Sports Retailer Expo in San Diego. On the first day they had sold all 300 pairs of pants and all four styles of the LRG hoodie as well as LRG t-shirts. LRG clothing represented the diverse interests of its founders and this is how they were able to cater to two different cultures at the same time. The LRG hoodie was one of LRG’s first hot items.

Jonas Bevacqua and Robert Wright met while they worked together on hip hop music. In addition to being a designer, Wright was also an MC and had worked with hip hop clothing labels such as Quiksilver and O’Neill. Bevacqua came up with the LRG logo and idea and together they developed LRG clothing with a small investment from a friend of Bevacqua’s family. In the beginning, sales were slow even with the LRG hoodie, LRG jeans, and shirts. However, in 2002 LRG began to rise in profitability.
